Helen Nebeker began studying piano at the age of four. Her first teacher was Julia Amada Kruger, Vice-President of the American College of Musicians/National Guild of Piano Teachers. She later studied with Dr. Timothy Woolsey, professor Emeritus of Texas State University throughout middle school and the first two years of high school, and her final pre-college teacher was Kenneth Thompson, who studied with Nelita True of the Eastman School of Music. Currently, Helen is attending the Cleveland Institute of Music as a piano performance major, studying with Dr. Daniel Shapiro.
